The Voluntary Tibet Advocacy Group (V-TAG) members under the Geneva jurisdiction recruited new V-TAG members and for this purpose held presentations on two occasions.
On 2nd September 2023, the V-TAG members participated in the Tibetan Democracy Day event in Vienna organised by the Tibetan community in Austria. The members gathered gave a brief presentation on V-TAG with a subsequent Q&A session. The audience was introduced to the aims and various activity fields of the new advocacy project as well as to the means of getting involved in the initiative. The president and vice-president of the Tibetan community in Austria expressed their complete support for future V-TAG projects.
On 3 September, the V-TAG members gathered the Tibetan community in Linz for a presentation on the V-TAG project. The members of the local Tibetan community showed great interest in the new project. Many young Tibetans also participated in the event.
